Another yesterday
A short film by Adam Roberts
This is a short film I shot and directed recently. The idea all started out after Nick (aka Domanwitz) sent me a music track he was working on, a very early version of the music used in the film. I liked the mood of the track and asked if I could use it in a short film. After writing up my thoughts and a treatment I started working out how I could realise my vision.
I approached Sony with a simple request: “Can you loan my a camera to shoot this film?”. Hoping they would loan me an Alpha a55 or even the lovely F3.
They responded with a challenge: “Can you shoot it on an NEX-5?”
My first thought was, well, really??? no, I don’t think so… but that would be turning down a challenge. This is my answer to that challenge.

Hi.
I love the video! I recently perchased a NEX5 with hopes of shooting videos. The camera is tiny, I was wondering if you would be able to upload a picture of what the camera looks like with your rig setup.
Thanks.

Hey Ray
Thanks for the feedback. Glad you like it.
I’ll be doing a post about how the camera was used on the shoot in the next week or so along with detailed pics of the set-up.
